Lux Interior died, aged 62;

It is sad to make a bloggin comeback to comment on someone's death, but Lux is a legend in his own right and deserves it.
Whether he was naming a song bikini girls with machine guns (...), singing live among crazy folk (and that is real crazy people, for they played in a mental institution) or buzzing like a fly he was an original, true to himself individual.

I was lucky enough to see The Cramps live in a festival: Lux spilled wine all over the place, broke glass bottles, barked in all fours, crawled the stage, swallowed the mic, destroyed equipment, piled up the stage monitors and once at the top, he ripped his own leather clothing with the glass, ending an apocalyptic version of Surfin' Bird semi-naked... he must have been around 56 then...

as I read somewhere: live fast, die eventually.
